Circulation
Students select and check out books, magazines, or audiobooks when they come to the library. Magazines are sent home in a protective plastic bag to prevent damage. Please return the bag with the magazine.
Library materials are checked out for a period of two weeks. Books may be renewed one time unless needed for a school project.
If students forget to bring in their library book when it is due, they may choose an Honor Book which does not need to be checked out. Students are "on their honor" to return these books.
Sixth grade students may check out books from the Young Adult section.
Lost or Damaged Materials
If a book is damaged, please DO NOT try to repair the damage at home. The library has special supplies made specifically to repair damaged books. If the book is damaged beyond repair, the student will be expected to pay for the replacement of the book.
